" Drinking for a cause "

We visited Frez-resto bar at Serendra, Fort Bonifacio. The atmosphere of this resto bar is perfect for drinking occasions. Its ambiance makes you feel separated from the outside world. Their cocktail drinks are on 50% off during happy hours from 2:00-7:00pm. How cool is that? One cocktail drink cost about 135-175 pesos, and when you apply the discount its half the price. Sex on the beach cocktail drink is one of the best of them all. Its content are: one and a half vodka, three fourths of peach schnapps, one and a half oz of creme de cassis, two oz of orange juice and cranberry juice, added some orange slice for garnish and there its done. It cost 75 pesos, normally its 150 pesos. It taste good and its cheap for your pockets. Another good tasting drink was the Mojito Cocktail drink. It has this good scented aroma that makes you feel even more relaxed. Its menthol scent flavor will take you out of this world. Both of these cocktail drink is good, but the Mojito is more cheaper than Sex on the beach, about 12.5 pesos. I had a great time in fez- resto bar, you must also try it out.

" Beautiful Burger, Beautiful Day "

If you want a satisfying feeling of enjoyment, Serendra has a lot to offer. It has a wonderful view where you can spend your time peacefully and quietly. With its garden like view, you may never want to leave the place. None of these matters with a one stop at Brother’s burger with its delicious burgers it’s the same feeling you’ll ever had with every bite of Brother’s burger you’ll take. With a budget of 200 pesos, you will enjoy the goodness of these burgers. I suggest, it would be better if you take out these burgers and eat them while walking at night. In this way, you can really feel the tender sweetness of these burgers, It will bring you new and fulfilling appetite that you never had before. Although the service there is not that quite satisfying but its still good. Who cares? its the burgers that matters after all. Remember, if you happen to have an empty stomach near taguig city, just stop by relax, and enjoy the burgers at Brother's Burger.

" Christmas Eve. "

Once a year, my whole family would gather in my grandfather's house to celebrate Christmas season. My grandfather plans and takes care of everything in that time. Our celebration would not start if there's no light coke around. My grandfather and the elders loves the idea of drinking light coke around before eating. My cousin and I, dont really like light coke as a drink for the celebration. Our favorite food is the salad that my mother makes. It is the only food item that taste so delicious. The other food tasted like not real food, because of the preservatives. Like for example, the palabok that my grandfather ordered. At the end of the celebration, we would line up infront of my grandfather and he gives us treats, money or even toys. He is like Santa Claus, but acts more than Santa. Everything end up well and everyone is happy

" Online/video games and youth "

One of the issues that has been raised since the beginning of the year 2000 was that children spent more time playing online games rather than playing outdoor games. If this continues as a habit, they will experience a hard time gaining their strengths in sports. Their immune system will have a less chance of surviving outdoor. The condition of a child playing online games would affect his or her time. The child would tend to be more lazy and get easily tired. When your playing video games, time flies by and you are too distracted in playing, you wont feel the time anymore. Of course there are some positive effect of this exercise, like it could increase your memory. It excises your brain to do multi-tasking but it really weakens your brain's health due to lack of exercise. Playing video games develops your mental abilities and increasing your I.Q. The youths should also balance their time in playing online games. Addiction is the other issue that has been covered up since facebook has developed. I have read an article that implemented total prohibition of facebook application games. For the reason of, a child playing it for 48 hours straight. He doesn't eat, of course he eats but just crackers and junk foods only. His wrist developed a tumor due to the position of the hand from the mouse. Hes been hospitalized for almost three weeks. A lesson that too much video games will cause harm to our health

"Food and How it is portrayed in media"

The commercial of Nissin, where they introduce a seafood noddle cup. They use old custom of Japanese tradition and a Japanese cartoon character. They show that if you eat their product, it will make you feel the waves of the ocean giving comfort. But actually, when I tasted the product. It taste like plastic shrimp rather taste like ocean water. I am actually allergic to shrimps, but not all seafood items. They used japanese culture in their commercial, because japanese traditions are very relaxing. And they associate this with the peace of mind. Their mostly costumes are in there working in the office. Since cup noddles is a fast food, people in the office tends to buy these products. And mostly people working in office are stressed. thinking of the japanese traditions makes people think that their stress will flow away, just like in the commercial. The old customs of japanese will be revive and it will be the new custom for those who eat seafood noddles.

" Ice cream Idea"

The Nestle commercial, where there was this old woman who asked a question to his grandson because he was supposed to go to the mercury drug store to buy medicine for his grandmother. But instead, he bought nestle ice cream and his reason was there could be a prize inside and the prize can buy lots of medicine. So the grandmother agreed and says that lets open it now and find out. It appeals to me because the whole idea is stupid. I believe that buying medicine is more important than having a chance to win something. What if you open the ice cream and found out you didn't win. How will you suppose to cure your sick mother? It is something to be concern with, because kids might think to buy ice cream while their grandmother needs medicine in the point that they are going to die already. There should be a caution for this kind of commercial.
